Privacy Policy
Last updated
DeepNow, Inc. provides Breezier. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website, create an account, use the video workspace, or watch a shared video. The Companion privacy policy also explains the extension's recording-specific behavior. Contact [email protected] about any of these practices or to make a privacy request.
Information we handle
- Account and workspace information: your email address, password hash, sign-in sessions, workspace membership, settings, and invitations.
- Content you provide: recordings, uploaded media and presentations, scripts, prompts, captions, transcripts, brand assets, comments, and generated or exported results. Recordings may include your screen, voice, camera, and information about other people.
- Billing information: plan, payment status, payment-provider identifiers, transactions, usage, and AI balance. Stripe collects payment details in its checkout or billing portal; Breezier does not receive your full card number.
- Connected credentials: API keys you choose to provide for AI services. These are encrypted when stored and used to authenticate the provider requests you make.
- Technical and support information: requests, timestamps, errors, device or browser information supplied with requests, network addresses used to deliver and protect the service, and information you send when contacting support.
- Playback activity: shared video opens, watch time, playback progress, and completion. Playback records use a random viewing token and do not include a viewer's email address, IP address, or browser fingerprint. Network addresses may still be processed for delivery, security, and rate limiting.
We receive information directly from you, from people who invite you or share content with you, from your use of the service, and from providers that return payment status or requested processing results. Do not upload sensitive information that you do not want processed or that you lack permission to share.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, operate workspaces, process and deliver videos, provide features you request, manage payments and usage, respond to support requests, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Video owners can see aggregate viewing statistics for their publications.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required. You may withdraw consent for processing that relies on it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Browser permission to capture a screen, microphone, or camera can be revoked in browser settings.
For account and service operations, DeepNow determines how information is used. When an organization supplies content through a workspace, it may determine the purposes of that processing, and we process the content to provide the service on its behalf. Its administrator may control access and retention. Contact that organization about its own practices as well as contacting us about Breezier.
AI processing and other recipients
Requested AI features send the content needed for the task to OpenAI, ElevenLabs, or Runway, depending on the feature and provider selected. This can include audio for transcription, text for narration or translation, images or video frames for visual analysis, and prompts or reference images for video generation. Connected provider accounts are also subject to your agreement with that provider. Provider retention and data handling depend on the service and account settings; do not assume that processing is local or that a provider immediately deletes every request.
We also use service providers for hosting, storage, email delivery, support, and payment processing. They receive information needed for their role. Stripe processes payments and billing-portal activity. Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) processes recipients and email content to deliver account and notification messages. Your browser's speech-recognition service may process microphone audio online when you enable speech-following in the Teleprompter; Breezier does not save the Teleprompter's recognized speech transcript.
Workspace members and people you authorize through sharing features receive content according to the access you grant. Shared links can be forwarded; downloaded copies cannot be recalled by changing a Breezier setting. We may disclose information to meet a legal obligation, protect rights and safety, or carry out a business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections.
Breezier does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use customer content to train our own general-purpose AI models. This does not override an AI provider's separate obligations or your provider-account choices.
Cookies and storage on your device
Breezier uses a session cookie and an optional persistent sign-in cookie for authentication, security, and workspace access. Video access settings may also use session information. Browser storage remembers appearance and Teleprompter preferences, unsaved drafts, upload recovery information, and local recording backups. Some of this information can remain on your device after signing out until you discard it or clear site data.
You can manage cookies and site storage in your browser. Clearing them can sign you out, reset preferences, and remove recoverable drafts or recordings. Save work you need first. The Breezier application does not load third-party advertising trackers. It does not change its operation in response to a Do Not Track signal. Because we do not sell information or share it for behavioral advertising, there is no such activity to opt out of through a Global Privacy Control signal. External checkout pages and websites embedding a video may have their own cookies and privacy practices.
Retention, deletion, and security
Account and workspace information is kept while needed to provide the service. Project content remains until deleted or otherwise removed under your workspace's instructions. Deleting a project removes its active records and files that are not still referenced by another project, revision, or publication. Copies held by other users and providers are governed by their own retention. Unfinished server uploads expire after 24 hours and are cleaned up by background jobs; local recovery copies may remain in your browser.
Contact support to request account closure, deletion, or a copy of your personal information. We may need to verify your identity and authority over a workspace. Records needed for billing, tax, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or disputes may be retained after a request. Backup and security-log retention can differ from active storage; deletion does not necessarily remove every copy immediately. We retain such information only as needed for those purposes.
We use access controls, password hashing, and encryption for stored account emails and provider keys. No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your account and connected credentials, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your choices and rights
You can update account settings, delete projects you control, and change publication access in Breezier. Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision about a request. Exercise these rights by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any limits on a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
An authorized representative may contact us for you, subject to verification of their authority. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Breezier's AI editing tools do not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.
International processing
DeepNow and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live, including the United States. Privacy laws may differ between countries. Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard, we must use an appropriate mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about the locations and safeguards relevant to your use of Breezier.
Children
Breezier is a service for people legally able to enter its Terms of Service and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
Policy updates
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes and notify you of material changes through the service or account email as required. We will obtain consent to new uses of information where required by law. A policy update does not remove protections that apply to information already collected.
